Join us on Wapato Island (Sauvie Island) to learn about the little microbe mudballs on a mission to clean and restore our water and Earth! Bokashi balls, or fermented mudballs, have been demonstrated to have a wide variety of regenerative applications, working as catalysts for restoring our environment by cleaning toxic waterways, improving soil health and supporting the expansion of existing mycelial networks. These mudballs have been successfully used around the world in bioremediation projects. We are honored to share this simple and efficient way of partnering with microbes and fungi with humans who want to clean soil and water. In this hands-on workshop, will will make microbe mudballs together, share recipes and discuss their practical uses in gardening, farming and restoration projects. Participants will take home a pound of fermented mudballs.
