BIOCHAR + FUEL REDUCTION WORKSHOP

DATE: March 11th, 2023

TIME: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join us on Wapato Island (Sauvie Island) to learn about biochar and fuel reduction. Working wisely with fire has many regenerative applications that are being researched and implemented globally. In this workshop, participants will learn how to convert biomass and burn piles into biochar soil amendments. We will discuss how to practically implement biochar’s diverse uses from small-scale garden projects, to farming applications, to large-scale restoration and land management. Participants will take home a pound of biochar.
